Set up an AI chatbot for your business — step by step

Answer customer questions at 2am, qualify leads, book appointments — a well-set-up AI chatbot does the repetitive talking so you don't have to. Here's how to build one without writing code.

The process

  1. List the questions you answer every day

Go through your last 20 customer conversations. The questions that repeat — hours, prices, location, availability — are exactly what the bot should handle.

  2. Write down your real answers

In your own words, as you'd say them to a customer. This becomes the bot's knowledge — the bot is only as good as the answers you feed it.

  3. Pick a tool below and paste the instruction prompt

Start with our Best Choice. The prompt below sets the bot's personality and rules; your Q&A list becomes its knowledge base.

  4. Test it like a difficult customer

Ask it things sideways, in mixed language, with typos. Note where it invents answers — then add the correct answer to its knowledge.

  5. Connect it where your customers are

Website widget, WhatsApp, Instagram — the tools below each list their channels. Start with one channel, get it right, then expand.

Your starter prompt

The bot's instruction prompt — fill and paste as its 'system' or 'instructions'
